O K did that scare you ? I hope not because there is a million more good moments than bad ones , when you first play a open chord and the strings are not muffled { Excitement plus I remember that one }

Playing lead guitar for beginners

Hi ,

I want to take some time out and talk about the A minor scale , Now this scale is such a lovely sound with a little effects such as Fat , Wah and clean chorus . One of the best sounds I have heard in a long time , so lets have a look shall we ..

E 5 , 7 ,8

A 5 , 7 , 8

D 5 , 7

G 4 , 5 , 7

B 5 , 6 ,8

E 5 , 7 , 8

Right now some of you maybe thinking what of Earth is all that , lets look at the letters going down the screen and relate them to your guitar , the thickest string on your guitar is the low E string . On my little illustruction that will be E 5 ,7 8 now when reading TAB from anywhere this string in TAB will be on the bottom , I did it this way so you can relate it better to your guitar . What are the numbers ? The numbers are the frets where you depress the string , on your guitar you will see dots , up near the tuning pegs as the strings go from the head stock down the fret board to your sound hole or pick ups . The first dot is at the 3 rd fret , so we are looking for the 5 th fret , use the index finger for the 5th fret notes and your little finger for the 8th fret notes .
